On 15th March 2025, family, friends, and well-wishers gathered at Umudurunihe, Umuokoro, Iho-Dimeze, Ikeduru, Imo State to bid a final farewell to the Late Mrs. Cecilia Ozuzuezi (Nee Chinakwe), who passed away at the age of 86. It was a day filled with emotions, reflection, and gratitude for a life well-lived.

A Life of Grace and Love

Born on 19th July 1939, the Late Mrs. Cecilia Ozuzuezi was a woman of faith, strength, and kindness. She touched many lives through her wisdom, love, and generosity, leaving behind a legacy of compassion and devotion. Her impact on her family and community will forever be cherished.

A Gathering of Love & Support

The Service of Songs and Wake-Keeping was held on 14th March 2025 at the Ozuzuezi Compound, where friends and family gathered to honour her memory with hymns, prayers, and heartfelt tributes.

On 15th March, the day began with the departure of her body from Amazing Grace Mortuary in Iho to her final resting place. A funeral service was held at Holiness Evangelistic Church, where emotional tributes were given, celebrating a life marked by faith and unwavering love for her family.

After the funeral service, Mrs. Cecilia Ozuzuezi was laid to rest at her family compound in Umudurunihe, Umuokoro, Iho-Dimeze. Tears of sorrow and gratitude filled the air as loved ones said their final goodbyes, knowing that her spirit would forever live on in their hearts.
