On 28 February 2025, family, friends, and well-wishers gathered to bid a final farewell to the Late Ezinne Sabina Udaro Oke-Igboananwa (née Akushie), fondly known as Isi’m Get Away. As the beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother of the Igboananwa family of Umuodu Orji Uratta, Owerri North LGA, her passing was met with deep sorrow. Still, it was also a celebration of a life well-lived.

The burial ceremonies began early in the morning as her body left Aladinma Mortuary, making a stop at her father’s compound in Ndeuhu Obokwe Uzoagba, Ikeduru, before proceeding to her husband’s home in Umuodu Orji Uratta for the lying-in-state.
A Funeral Mass was held at Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish Church, Orji Uratta, where family, friends, and community members gathered in prayer and thanksgiving for her remarkable life. After the service, she was laid to rest in her husband’s compound, marking the end of an era but leaving behind a legacy of love, strength, and faith.
Our ICSS 1994–2000 alumni stood by our brother, Okechukwu Igboananwa, offering support and solidarity during this difficult time. As a family, we continue to keep him and his loved ones in our thoughts and prayers.

May Mama Sabina Igboananwa’s soul rest in eternal peace.
